ABOUT SHERPA ADVENTURE

Sherpa Adventure was established in 1979 by Pasang Dawa Sherpa, rooted in the heart of Nepal’s Himalayan travel and mountaineering tradition. For over four decades, we have organized trekking, expeditions, mountain biking, cultural tours, and adventure journeys across Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan. What began as a family-led company has grown into a trusted name for travelers seeking authentic Himalayan experiences, safe mountain operations, and reliable local expertise.

Nepal is not simply a destination for us. It is our home. Coming from the Himalayan region ourselves, we understand the mountains beyond the map — the trails, villages, cultures, weather, altitude, seasons, and the realities of travel in remote landscapes. This knowledge allows us to design journeys with care, precision, and a deep respect for the places we travel through.

From the beginning, Sherpa Adventure has maintained close ties with Nepal’s mountaineering community. These relationships, together with our family background and local roots, helped us build a strong team of experienced guides, expedition staff, and field professionals capable of supporting journeys in some of the world’s most demanding mountain environments.

Today, Sherpa Adventure continues to be operated and managed by the family, carrying forward the values on which it was founded: trust, safety, professionalism, responsibility, and genuine Himalayan hospitality.

Our programs range from classic treks and high-altitude expeditions to cultural tours, jungle safaris, river rafting, bungee jumping, and customized adventure experiences. Each journey is planned with attention to detail, supported by trained local teams, and shaped around the comfort, interests, and safety of our guests.

We believe that meaningful travel should benefit both the traveler and the destination. That is why responsible tourism, environmental awareness, and respect for local communities remain central to the way we work.

For us, Sherpa Adventure is more than a travel company. It is a family legacy built on mountain knowledge, strong local connections, and a lifelong commitment to sharing the Himalayas with the world.
